Section 144-115-13 - DUTIES OF THE OWNER OR OPERATOR In order to qualify for reimbursement of allowable room and board costs, the owner or operator of a residential care facility, or a duly authorized representative shall:
13.1 Comply with the provisions of Section 12 of these Principles and be receiving payments for Medical and Remedial Services under the MaineCare program for eligible members.13.2 Submit master file documents and cost reports in accordance with the provisions of these Principles.13.3 Maintain adequate financial and statistical records and make them available when requested for inspection by an authorized representative of the Department, the State, or the Federal government.13.4 Assure that annual records are prepared in conformance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), except where otherwise required.13.5 Assure that the construction of buildings and the maintenance and operation of premises and programs comply with all applicable health and safety standards.13.6 Submit such data, statistics, schedules or other information the Department requires in order to carry out its functions.
