Section 137-22-01 - Paid Advertising in Maine Fish and Wildlife Magazine
A. Paid advertising may be solicited by employees of the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife or by an agent designated by the Commissioner.
B. No advertising will be accepted from candidates for elected office or for the sale of alcohol, tobacco, or real estate. No advertising will be accepted from individuals or groups with goals and objectives inconsistent with those of the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
C. All advertising is subject to the Commissioner's approval. The Commissioner reserves the right to reject any advertising deemed not in keeping with the magazines editorial standards, or to cancel any advertisement at any time.
D. The Commissioner and the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife shall not be liable for any costs for damages if for any reason it fails to publish an advertisement.
E. The Commissioner will establish policies related to advertising rates, methods of payment, format, positioning, mechanical requirements, closing dates, and total amount of advertising in Maine Fish and Wildlife Magazine. The Commissioner reserves the right to change any of these at any time.
F. Advertisers assume liability for content of advertisements and for claims arising thereto.
