Section 096-521-3 - Permit application required [see 40 CFR 124.3](a)(1) Any person who requires a permit under the UIC, or NPDES programs shall complete, sign, and submit to the Department an application for each permit required under 38 MRSA., Section 413 (UIC and NPDES). Applications are not required for underground injections authorized by rules (Chapter 543) or NPDES general permits (Chapter 529).(2) The Department shall not begin the processing of a permit until the applicant has fully complied with the application requirements for that permit.
