Public comment on applications is allowed during the application processing period, and the Department will maintain a list of interested persons for each application. The Department may set, and any person may request notification of, a deadline for submission of public comment or other evidence on a specific application. When the Department establishes a deadline for comment on an application that is before a decision on the application is made, the Department will notify the applicant and any interested persons.
