Subsection 071-119-6-1 - Intervention and Public Participation(a) On timely application, the hearing officer shall allow any person who shows that he/she is or may be substantially and directly affected by the proceeding to intervene as a party in the proceeding. The employing school unit and the local support system shall be allowed to intervene upon application of the school board. On timely application, the hearing officer may in his/her discretion permit any other person to intervene and participate as a full or limited party to the proceeding.
