Section 477-3-2 - Substantially Equivalent License Requirements"Substantially equivalent license requirements" means that the jurisdiction maintains a pathway for initial licensure that at a minimum requires the education and examination as set forth in Sections 2(A) and 2(B).
A.Licensed Occupational Therapisti. Documented proof of completion of the academic and fieldwork requirements of an occupational therapy educational program accredited by ACOTE; andii. Proof of a passing score on the certification examination of NBCOT, or its successor organization, for the occupational therapist.B.Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistanti. Documented proof of completion of the academic and fieldwork requirements of an occupational therapy assistant educational program accredited by ACOTE; andii.
