Section 396-3-4 - Activities Not Acceptable for Continuing Education CreditContinuing education credit may NOT be claimed for the following activities:
A. Moderators at seminars. Moderators may not be considered as faculty if their sole function is to introduce speakers and their topicsB. Coffee breaks, social functions, visits to exhibitors or time allotted for administrative, business or practical mattersC. Specialty board or specialty organization preparation, e.g. preparation or sitting for board certification or fellowship statusD. Services related to local, state or national offices in podiatric societies or organizationsE. Services related to councils, committees, task forces, etc. of hospitals or other medical organizationsF. Services to a board of podiatric medical examinersG. Services to a community, state or national organization as a member for planning for health servicesH. Time spent in preparation for lectures or exhibits
