Section 318-130-3 - EXAMINATIONS

The following provisions apply to all examinations for electrician licenses.

A. The passing score for all examinations is 70%.
B. Eligibility for examination remains valid for a period of 2 years from the date of approval to sit for examination. An applicant who fails to pass the examination within 2 years of approval must reapply as a new applicant.
C. Notwithstanding the time limitation set forth in subsection (B), in the case of a member of the United States Armed Forces, an extension may be granted if the applicant serves no more than 4 years. If required by some provision to serve a period longer than 4 years, the applicant shall submit satisfactory evidence of this provision and a further extension may be granted. The applicant shall notify the Electricians' Examining Board of separation from the United States Armed Forces within 90 days after separation from service and sit for examination within 2 years from the date of separation.
