Section 285-5-1 - The following practice standards for veterinary clinics shall be maintainedVeterinarians shall in their practice facilities:
A. Maintain overall cleanliness and neatness of personnel;B. Provide adequate protection against dissemination of disease;C. Provide proper disposal of all waste material;D. Provide adequate ventilation and freedom from noxious odors;E. Provide adequate restraint facilities as per specialty;F. Have proper refrigeration and sterilization equipment available;G. Use facilities and equipment which are suitable for currently acceptable veterinary practice; andH. Be in compliance with local ordinances and cognizant of applicable safety Standards promulgated by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
