Section 041-26-26.110 - Sanitizing/Sterilizing Tools and ImplementsBefore use upon a client, cuticle nippers, tweezers and come done extractors shall first be cleaned with detergent and water and then sterilized by one of the following methods:
1. Steam sterilizer, registered and listed with the United States Food and Drug Administration and used according to the manufacturer's instructions;2. Dry heat sterilizer, registered and listed with the United States Food and Drug Administration and used according to the manufacturer's instructions; 3. Autoclave or similar sterilization equipment used to destroy all microbial life, including spores, shall be used and tested for efficacy according to the manufacturer's directions and recommendation; or 4.
