The purpose of this Chapter is to permit the State of Maine to utilize NMLS for the licensing of all loan brokers. Use of the system will provide improved oversight over the activities of the companies, simplify recordkeeping, and standardize processes for all loan brokers licensed in Maine. This Chapter also establishes requirements for application for licensing and sets fees for initial and renewal licensing.
