Section 001-220-3 - Animal Health StandardsAll domesticated deer moved into the State of Maine unless specifically exempted pursuant to section 4 must be accompanied by the following documents:
A. A permit for state entry from the Maine Department of Agriculture, Food and Rural resources, Division of Veterinary Services; andB. An official health certificate; andC. Proof that the domesticated deer tested negative to an official test for Tuberculosis conducted within 60 days prior to entry; andD. Proof that the domesticated deer tested negative to an official test for Brucellosis that was conducted within 30 days prior to entry, unless the domesticated deer are less than 180 days of age at the time of entry; andE. Proof that the domesticated deer tested negative to an official test for Bluetongue that was conducted within 30 days prior to entry, unless the domesticated deer are less that 180 days of age at the time of entry.01-001 C.M.R. ch. 220, § 3
