Section I-716 - Statewide-Loads Exceeding 16 Feet 5 Inches in HeightA. All loads exceeding 16 feet 5 inches in height that are moving on state highways are required to notify the DOTD district office where the move originates. A district authorization number must be obtained from the district office, as well as all other subsequent district(s) that the load will travel through before application for an oversize/overweight permit is made.La.
