Section XXIII-389 - "All or None" Bids Covering Exempt CommoditiesA. Bidders may limit a bid on acceptance of the whole bid, whereupon the department shall not thereafter reject part of such bid and award on the remainder.B. When multiple items are contained on any solicitation and the department chooses to make a group award in order to save the department the cost of issuing another purchase order, an award may be made to a vendor already receiving a purchase order if the total bid for said item is $1,000 or less, and the total difference between the low bidder and the bidder receiving the award is $100 or less.C. The decision to award on the basis of all of none or on individual items will be determined by the DOTD procurement director taking into consideration the best interest of the Department of Transportation and Development.La.
