Section XXIII-385 - Alternate BidsA. Any bidder quoting an alternate product which does not fully comply with the specifications contained in the invitation for bids must state in what respect the product deviates.B. Failure to note exceptions on the bid form will be considered an indication that the product meets the specifications contained in the invitation for bids.C. Bidders quoting an equivalent brand or model should submit with the bid information such as illustrations, descriptive literature and /or technical data sufficient for the Department of Transportation and Development to evaluate quality, suitability and compliance with the specifications.D. Failure to submit descriptive information may cause bid to be rejected.E.
