Section XXIX-105 - Qualifications for Examination and Licensure or PermittingA. All persons applying for an examination for licensure or for a license or permit issued by the commission shall meet the following requirements. 1. An applicant must be 17 years of age or older to take an examination for licensure or apply for a permit, but must be 18 years of age or older before a license or permit will be issued to the applicant.2. An applicant for licensure shall successfully complete the examination prescribed by the commission for the area in the practice of horticulture for which the license is sought.B. Applicants for the landscape architect license shall also meet the following requirements: 1. pass the LARE or an exam approved by CLARB;2. submit proof of passage of LARE or an exam approved by CLARB with the application for the Louisiana Landscape Architect Examination;3. pass the Louisiana Landscape Architect Examination;4. have at least one year of practical experience under the direct supervision of a licensed landscape architect, landscape horticulturist, engineer, architect, or a licensed professional with a design or contracting firm.La.
