Section XXIII-713 - Certification of Pesticide SalespersonsA. Examinations for certification for pesticide salespersons will be given upon request of the applicant in Baton Rouge, at the division, or at any district office of the department. Each person who has been certified as a pesticide salesperson, and whose certification has not been revoked or suspended or expired, may renew that certification by attending a recertification meeting or training course for that category as approved by the commissioner. The commissioner shall issue a certification card to each pesticide salesperson. This card shall expire on December 31 of each year. Each person wishing to renew a certification card shall do so by submitting an application form and the proper fee, as prescribed by the commissioner.B. No pesticide salesperson shall sell or distribute any restricted use pesticide to any person who does not hold a valid certification card.La. Admin. Code tit. 7, § XXIII-713
