Section V-2105 - Development, Adoption and Registration of an Official Logo for Louisiana Sweet PotatoesA. The commission may develop and adopt a Louisiana sweet potato logo to be placed on boxes, crates, or other packages to certify that the sweet potatoes in the boxes, crates or other packages are Louisiana sweet potatoes.B. Upon adoption of a Louisiana sweet potato logo the commission may register the logo as a trademark or a certification mark with the state of Louisiana, U.S. Government or any other governmental or private entity where necessary or proper to protect the logo's status as a trademark or as a certification mark.La.
