Section V-7317 - Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (ICPC)A. Provider shall have documentation of approval from the administrator of the Louisiana Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (ICPC) prior to sending a child to another state for foster/adoptive services. No placement shall occur without prior approval from the compact administrator in Louisiana.B. Provider shall have documentation of approval from the administrator of the Louisiana ICPC prior to receiving a child from another state for foster/adoptive services. No placement shall occur without prior approval from the compact administrator in Louisiana.C. A child adopted through the court of jurisdiction in a foreign country or entering Louisiana directly from the foreign country for purposes of adoption are not subject to the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children.D. Upon placement of a child in Louisiana, provider shall follow all child-placing agency standards.La. Admin. Code tit. 67, § V-7317
