Section III-2705 - Administrative Process for Establishing PaternityA. Upon receipt of a Paternity Declaration Form, Support Enforcement Services will notify the alleged father by certified mail that he has been named as father of the child and that he has 90 days to contest the allegation. If the alleged father fails to contest the allegation in writing within this time frame, he shall be presumed to be the father of the child for support purposes only. The agency or the custodial parent may then proceed with establishing a support order.La. Admin. Code tit. 67, § III-2705
