Section III-2107 - BenefitsA. Participants will receive one of three standard amounts of SNAP benefits based on the households total combined shelter (housing and utilities) costs. B. Benefit levels and shelter thresholds used to determine benefits will be adjusted each year to reflect changes in the thrifty food plan and prevailing shelter expenses. Benefit levels will also be adjusted annually based on the cost-of-living adjustments for SSI.C. Eligibility begins the first day of the month the LaCAP application is received.
