Section III-5543 - Drug Courts ProgramA. OFS shall enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Supreme Court of Louisiana to provide services to drug court clients that may include non-medical treatment, assessment, counseling, education, and training. Eligible services shall not include drug court administrative costs.B. These services meet TANF goal 3, to prevent and reduce the incidence of out-of-wedlock pregnancies and TANF goal 4, to encourage the formation and maintenance of two-parent families by providing assessment, counseling, education, training, non-medical treatment, etc.C. Eligibility for services is limited to children and to the parents or caretaker relatives of minor children. A family consists of a minor child residing with a custodial parent or caretaker relative of the minor child, and non-custodial parents.D. Services are considered non-assistance by the agency.La.
