Section III-309 - Time Limits for Decisions to be RenderedA. A prompt, definitive, and final decision must be provided within the number of days from the date of the fair hearing request as listed below: B. If the hearing is delayed at the request of the claimant or his authorized agent, the time limit for the rendering of a decision is extended for as many days as the hearing is delayed. However, the hearing cannot be delayed more than 30 days without good cause.C. Limits for rendering a decision may be extended when the client wishes to present additional evidence. The limits are extended for the number of days it takes the client to submit the evidence.D. Failure to meet the time limits in this Section shall have no effect on the validity of the decision.La.
