Section XXI-501 - Suspension of BenefitsA. As provided in R.S. 11:1631(E) and (F), if a member has commenced to receive distributions under R.S. 11:1632 or 1633, then benefits to such member shall be suspended upon his reemployment by a contributing employer to the system, and the suspension shall continue so long as he is still employed. If such member later terminates employment, he shall commence to receive minimum distributions again and shall be entitled to elect the method of receiving such distributions, with his required beginning date to be determined based on the date of his termination of employment.La.
