A. The purpose of these rules is to regulate the activity of certifying, hydrostatic testing, inspecting, installing, maintaining, planning or servicing of commercial fire sprinkler equipment and/or systems in the interest of protecting and preserving lives and property pursuant to authority of R.S. 40:1664.1 et seq.La.
