Section III-137 - Renewal StickersA. Upon receipt of an application which complies with the requirements set out by law and rule, the Office of Motor Vehicles will issue a renewal sticker to be affixed to the side of the license containing the Restriction and Endorsement Code. Applicants who apply for renewal and who fail to receive a sticker within 35 days of application must contact the Office of Motor Vehicles either in writing or in person within 60 days from the date of license expiration to qualify for a free replacement sticker or free retake of the pictured license. If the applicant does not contact the department by the sixtieth day, he will be required to pay for a duplicate license or sticker at a cost of $5 plus a $5.50 handling fee.
