Section I-2745 - Disposition of Biological Samples Following Termination Peace Officer EmploymentA. If the employment of a peace officer who is required to have a DNA sample collected pursuant to R.S. 40:2405.4 terminates for any reason, the law enforcement agency that collected the sample may destroy the buccal swab or return it to the peace officer from whom the sample was collected.La.
