Section XXVII-305 - Transportation of Potentially Infectious Biomedical Waste [formerly paragraph 27:021-9]A. Transportation of potentially infectious biomedical waste shall be as follows. 1. A generator who transports large quantities of untreated or treated but still recognizable potentially infectious biomedical waste off site must register as a transporter and meet all the requirements specified in §701 of these regulations.2. Generators shall transfer custody of potentially infectious biomedical waste only to transporters who are registered with the state health officer for this purpose as set forth in §701La. Admin.
