Section XII-1317 - Monthly Reporting RequiredA. If a system uses chlorine dioxide, chlorite monitoring results (daily, monthly, as well as any additional compliance monitoring) and daily chlorine dioxide residual monitoring results (as ClO2) shall be reported to the state health officer monthly. All results shall be on a report form approved by the state health officer. Such report shall specifically be provided to the OPH district engineering office which has jurisdictional oversight of the public water system within 10 days following the end of each calendar month. 1. Nothing within this Section shall be interpreted to exempt a public water system which uses chlorine dioxide from issuing public notification and consulting with the state health officer as soon as possible but no later than 24 hours after the system learns of an acute violation of the maximum residual disinfectant level (MRDL) for chlorine dioxide.La.
