Section XII-133 - Electrical and ControlsA. Electrical equipment, electrical instrumentation and controls shall be located above grade, in areas not subject to flooding or protected from damage due to water inundation.B. The design of all electrical work for new facilities or modifications to existing facilities shall conform to the applicable requirements of the State Uniform Construction Code, LAC 17:1 and any other applicable local code(s) which may have stricter requirements.C. Existing electrical equipment, electrical instrumentation and controls at facilities may remain provided they do not create an unsafe condition and do not reduce the reliability of the equipment or cause failure to system components.La.
