Section X-107 - Labeling Requirements [formerly paragraph 10:006]A. All carcasses shall be identified as having been prepared in a permitted slaughter house by being labeled with all information required by the State Food, Drug and Cosmetic Law (R.S. 40:601 et seq.) and identified by the permit number of the establishment in which prepared. Any meat or meat product, poultry or poultry product, when offered for sale for human consumption, which is not identified with the permit number of the establishment where slaughtered or prepared, shall be subject to seizure and destruction as provided for by R.S. 40:632 and 635.La.
