Section VII-951 - CappingA. Capping or closing of milk and dairy product containers shall be done in a sanitary manner in mechanical equipment that complies with applicable 3-A Standards and the PMO, Item 19p. Single service containers and closures used for milk and milk products shall have been manufactured by plants that comply with the single service container and closure requirements of this Code. The cap or closure shall protect the milk pouring lip to at least its largest diameter and, with regard to fluid product containers, removal cannot be made without detection.B.
