Section VII-113 - Requirements for Imported Dairy ProductsA. All dairy products (including frozen desserts, filled dairy products, anomalous milk and milk products, anomalous dairy products and imitation milk and imitation milk products) brought into Louisiana from outside of the state shall comply with the standards (specifications) contained in this Part determined to be applicable by the state health officer. These products shall be produced, processed and handled by facilities that comply with, the requirements of this Part. The production and processing facilities may be inspected by the state health officer; the cost of such inspections shall be borne by the person or firm producing or processing such dairy products or in lieu thereof, the state health officer may accept a certificate of compliance/inspection of a duly authorized agent of the dairy regulatory agency in the state or country wherein the products are produced or processed.La.
