Section VII-109 - PermitsA. Operators of dairy farms, receiving stations, transfer stations, dairy plants (including frozen dessert manufacturing plants, filled dairy products processing plants, anomalous milk and milk products processing plants, anomalous dairy products processing plants, imitation milk and milk products processing plants, single-service containers and closures for milk and milk products manufacturing plants, milk tank truck cleaning facilities, finished dairy product depots/transfer points and milk tank trucks) that are domiciled within the state shall obtain a permit to operate from the state health officer prior to beginning operation. Bulk milk tank truck operators/samplers and dairy plant receivers/samplers shall obtain a permit from the state health officer prior to performing the duties associated with those positions. Only a person who complies with the requirements of this Part shall be entitled to receive or retain a permit from the state health officer.B. Persons applying for permits shall complete and sign all forms for permit application and pay any and all fees required by the state health officer.C. Such a permit may be temporarily suspended by the state health officer upon violation by the holder of any of the terms of these regulations, or for interference with the state health officer in the performance of his duties, or may be revoked after an opportunity for a hearing by the state health officer upon serious or repeated violations.La.
