Section VI-929 - Product Testing Requirements [formerly paragraph 6:137-7]A. To assure that the plant's production of bottled drinking water is in compliance with the State Food Drug and Cosmetic Law (R.S. 40:601 et seq.) and this code, the plant shall: 1. [formerly paragraph 6:137-7 (1)] for bacteriological purposes take and analyze at least once a week a sample from a batch or segment of a continuous production run for each type of bottled drinking water produced during a day's production. The samples shall consist of primary containers of product or unit packages of product;2. [formerly paragraph 6:137-7 (2)] for chemical, physical, and radiological purposes, take and analyze at least semi-annually a representative sampling from a batch or segment of a continuous production run for each type of bottled drinking water produced during a day's production. The representative sample shall consist of primary containers of product or unit packages of product;3. [formerly paragraph 6:137-7 (3)] analyze such samples by methods approved by the government agency or agencies having jurisdiction.
