Section VI-1129 - Good Manufacturing Practices; Processes and Controls [formerly paragraph 6:152]A. All operations in the receiving, inspection, transporting, packing, segregating, preparing, processing and storing of food shall be conducted in accordance with good sanitation principles. Overall sanitation of the plant shall be under the supervision of an individual assigned responsibility for this function. All precautions shall be taken to assure that production procedures do not contribute contamination such as filth, harmful chemicals, undesirable microorganisms or any other objectionable material to the processed product. Examples of production procedures which contribute to contamination are poorly maintained bottle washers, lack of sanitizing equipment and poor employee sanitary practices. Quality control records shall be maintained on all tests and analyses done on processed products.La. Admin. Code tit. 51, § VI-1129
