Section XXXI-107 - Certification PeriodA. Refugee medical assistance coverage begins the month of application.B. The certification period shall not exceed eight months from the date of entry. For Afghan Special Immigrants, the certification period shall not exceed six months from the date of entry. 1. The date of entry for asylees is the date the individual is granted asylum.La. Admin.
