Section XXI-9101 - Waiver Costs LimitA. The annual service budget for each of the RUG-III/HC groups shall be reviewed to ensure that the costs of the Community Choices Waiver remain within applicable federal rules regarding the cost-effectiveness of the waiver. To ensure cost-effectiveness, the mean expenditures across all RUG-III/HC categories must be less than or equal to the average cost to the state of providing care in a nursing facility. If the waiver is not cost-effective, the annual service budgets for some or all RUG-III/HC groups shall be reduced to bring the waiver into compliance.La. Admin. Code tit. 50, § XXI-9101
