Section V-703 - Administrative Appeal and Judicial ReviewA. If the director's decision is adverse to the hospital, the hospital may appeal the director's decision to the Bureau of Appeals or its successor. The appeal must be lodged within 30 days of receipt of the written decision of the director. The receipt of the decision of the director shall be deemed to be five days from the date of the decision. The administrative appeal shall be conducted in accordance with the Louisiana Administrative Procedure Act (APA). The Bureau of Appeals shall submit a recommended decision to the secretary of the department. The secretary will issue the final decision of the department.B. Judicial review of the secretary's decision shall be in accordance with the APA and shall be filed in the Nineteenth Judicial District Court.La. Admin. Code tit. 50, § V-703
