Section IX-8501 - General ProvisionsA. The Medicaid Program shall provide coverage for vaccines recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices for beneficiaries age 19 and older. B. To qualify for Medicaid reimbursement for the vaccine and vaccine administration, a provider must be a licensed health care provider who has the authority under Louisiana state law to administer vaccines and be an enrolled Medicaid provider.La.
