Section XXVII-311 - Overutilization of ServicesA. Overutilization of services is prohibited. Overutilization is the providing of treatment or diagnostic services, the need for which cannot be substantiated by the clinical record of the patient, or reports, or any other pertinent facts or evidence. Such practice shall constitute a form of misrepresentation, deceit, unprofessional conduct, or gross misconduct.La. Admin. Code tit. 46, § XXVII-311
