Section XI-159 - Timekeepers and Corner Inspectors (Formerly Section 327)A. The timekeeper must be seated outside the ring close to the bell/horn. He shall indicate the beginning and ending of each round by striking the bell/horn. He shall provide himself a whistle and a stop watch, which shall have been properly examined and certified as to accuracy before the bout by a commissioner. Ten seconds before the beginning of each round the timekeeper shall give warnings to the seconds of contestant by blowing of the whistle. The timekeeper shall signal by striking a clapper to indicate when only 10 seconds remain in a round.B. One corner inspector must be in each corner. Contestants cornermen present will be approved and appointed by the commissioner in attendance to ensure adherence to rules and regulations, whose authority is recognized, and whose directions will be followed by all contestants and cornermen.La.
