Section VIII-801 - PrefaceA. Pursuant to R.S. 37:3713, each licensed behavior analyst and state certified assistant behavior analyst is required to complete continuing education hours within biennial reporting periods. Continuing education is an ongoing process consisting of learning activities that increase professional development. Continuing professional development activities: 1. are relevant to the practice of behavior analysis, education and science;2. enable behavior analysts to keep pace with emerging issues and technologies; and3. allow behavior analysts to maintain, develop, and increase competencies in order to improve services to the public and enhance contributions to the profession.La.
