Section VIII-102 - Board CompositionA. The board shall be comprised of seven members to include six behavior analysts and one consumer member. Elections will occur when the professional behavior analysts' board seats become vacant in accordance with policies and procedures and the MOU between the board and the professional association. The governor shall then appoint members from a list of the nominees submitted by the professional association. The consumer member shall possess the qualifications found in R.S. 37:3703 and submit an application to the governor.B. Each member shall be appointed for a term of four years. No member of the board shall serve more than two consecutive complete terms on the board.C. Board members shall continue to serve, even if their term has expired, until the governor appoints their replacement.D. The board shall elect annually from its membership a chair and vice-chair.E. Members of the board shall serve without compensation but shall be reimbursed for reasonable travel expenses incurred in attendance at meetings and other official business of the board.La. Admin.
