Section LXXXV-1205 - Passing ScoresA. A passing score on any written and/or oral portions of the examination shall be deemed to be the correct answering of 70 percent of the questions contained on that portion of the examination.B. A passing grade on the practical portion of the examination will be determined by the successful completion of a series of hands-on demonstrations which indicate that the applicant has been properly trained in procedures which will enable him to safely and effectively perform humane euthanasia with sodium pentobarbital.C. Applicants who fail to achieve a passing score on any portion of the examination, either written or practical, will not be eligible for a certificate of approval nor may they apply for a temporary certificate of approval.D. Appeals concerning the examination must be made in writing to the board within 30 days of the administration of the examination. All such formal appeals will be reviewed at the next available meeting of the board. The board may call witnesses and/or hold public hearings as it deems necessary although it is not required to do so unless otherwise specified by statute.
