Section LVII-717 - Requirements of ContractsA. Upon initial contact from a private citizen, a contract may be offered on all matters.B. The contract shall contain, but may not be limited to, the following information: 1. name, address, and phone number of investigative agency;2. name, address and phone number of private investigator responsible for case work;3. schedule of fees to be charged;4. purpose and scope of investigation;5. limitations of responsibility to investigative agency;6. limitations of responsibility to client;8. signature of two witnesses;9. date agreement was signed; and10. contracts shall be made in duplicate:a. one copy for the client;b. one copy shall be retained in the investigative case file for a period of three years.La.
