Section LI-605 - ProhibitionsA. No optometrist shall prescribe, dispense, administer, supply, sell, give or otherwise use for the purpose of treating a patient, any controlled substance or other medication, except in strict compliance with the Louisiana and federal law and regulations applicable thereto and with the rules of this Chapter.B. No optometrist shall prescribe, dispense or administer any medication except in the usual and ordinary course of his optometry practice for a legitimate medical purpose.C.
