Section XV-1129 - Suspension, RevocationA. Any permit may, for good cause, be suspended or revoked by the president if the permittee is found to have violated any provisions of these rules, the Act, or objective criteria established by the corporation.B. Any permit granted by the corporation pursuant to these rules and the Act will specify the reasons for which any permit may be suspended or revoked by the corporation, which reasons include but are not limited to:1. commission of a violation of these rules, the Act, or other provisions of Louisiana law;2. commission of any fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation;3. conduct prejudicial to public confidence in the lottery;4. the permittee filing for or being placed in bankruptcy or receivership;5. failure to accurately account for tickets, revenues or prizes as required by the corporation;6. insufficient sale of sports wagers; or7. any material changes in any matter considered by the corporation in granting the permit to the permittee.C. If, in the discretion of the president, suspension or revocation of a permit is in the best interests of the lottery, the public welfare, or the state of Louisiana, the president may suspend or revoke, after notice and a hearing, any permit granted pursuant to these rules or the Act. Such permit may, however, be temporarily suspended by the president without prior notice, pending any prosecution, hearing, or investigation, whether by a third party or by the president.
