Section I-109 - Compliance PenaltyA. Unless otherwise provided for in the rules of the Office of Workers' Compensation, a person or entity that fails to comply with any rule or regulation adopted under the provisions of the Workers' Compensation Act may be penalized with a fine not to exceed $500.B. A person or entity may appeal any penalty imposed pursuant to this rule by filing a Disputed Claim Form, LDOL-WC-1008, in the district where the person or entity is located or in Baton Rouge, LA. All such appeals shall be de novo. Any penalty imposed pursuant to this rule becomes final and may be pursued for collection unless such an appeal is filed within 30 days of the notice of the penalty.La. Admin. Code tit. 40, § I-109
