Section XIII-17933 - Nonpayment of Health ClaimsA. In the event a health insurance issuer pends a claim, as permitted pursuant to §17931, and is subsequently entitled to cancel or terminate a policy for nonpayment of premium, the health insurance issuer shall pay any remaining claims for which payment is required under §17931.B The health insurance issuer may deny payment on pended claims for services rendered to the insured during the period of nonpayment after the first month.La.
